It's realy great to see what kind of books you guys got in America.
I can't read the most of them because they are not available in Belgium.
Thank you Hilarie to share it with us!
xoxo Anse
Great book! Have you ever been to Weeki Wachee in Florida? They have the girls dress as mermaids and swim underwater breathing through tubes. It's not the real deal but very exciting to see!! Hope your Thanksgiving was great!
this couldnt have caught my mind anymore than what it did... im from alabama and its like if you go to a certain place you can find so much magic in it. the scarry--ness the wow this really happened here? i love books like this... i need to go find it..
hey hil,
great book choice=]
i believe in magic and i believe that vampires and ghost really do exist.
iam actually crazy about the whole methical creature thing haha!!!
whitney
Noémie en France, me i believe in the ghost
I think Vampires exist (Not because of Twilight) I just think there is someting be said of a creature that is all butt actually Human..
Being a Mississippi native, i know we have some cracked out names floatin' up and down our waterways. I'm thinkin' that the creature is possibly pronounced pas-ca-goul-ah... it's a town close to Bay St. Louis and Biloxi...? Any-hoo (yea, i said any-hoo- yikes!) This sounds like an awesome book to just pull out every so often on a hot southern, porch swing/rockin' chair rockin', kinda evening.
Enjoyed it~
Jen
Hey Hilarie.
The book club is amazing. You're a great story teller, very into the Story everytime.
This book looks really great. I hope I'll find it, but as I live in France I don't know.
I've always been fascinated by mystical creatures. Especially fairy, werewolf and currently I'm into vampires litterature.
And I do believe in magic and spirits. But not really in mermaids, or fairies, or vampires. But in fact I don't know. It would be great they exist. ( but only kind vampires, lol it wouldn't be great otherwise ^^) I only believe in witches, I'm sure there is people out there with surnatural power.
I just saw the new One Tree Hill episode today. And it's not the same with you and Chad :(.
Oh and I love your new hair color :)
Jennifer

Hilarie! Another wonderful blog, boy do I love story telling!
To answer your question....I do beleive in Farries, oh I do believe in farries!
Id also like to think that there are vampires and Werewolves out in the world. No matter how farfetched or creepy that may sound...haha.
Not to mention that I have always thought that mirrors were a portail for the undead. I don't if that woud be an answer for your question. When I was younder and even know I can't look into a mirror in the dark, because I am afraid that when I look into it there will will be a face looking back at me.
XOXO

I love fairies, and I defenetly believe in them.
Firstly, I really love your hair, Hil.
I really like the sound of this book. Mystical things have always interested me, like Unicorns, Mermaids, Fairies etc.
I do love Mermaids. But, Vampires are my obsession. I really do believe that Dracula was the first vampire. They are just so interesting and amazing creatures.
Emma.
very great website and story !
I like your hair!
you are the best Hil!
great story!
Hi hilarie I am big one fan you are beautiful Peyton and lucas scott forever!
Hi Hilarie you are perfect !
Great read. Mystical creatures are always facinating.
*BTW, Mobile is referring to the port city in Alabama pronounced 'Moe-beel'.
Hey Hil,
I really enjoy these book club Vlogs..there is something so relaxing in listening to somebody who really gets into a story read. You always choose something extremely interesting and hook me with new things I would have never known about. I love a good magical/mythical creature..I think all are equally intriguing!! Thanks for the story times with you it's nice to hear someone truely love to read and it just keeps adding to my pile of must reads.
~Dana
ooh i love mystic beings which explains my love of the little mermaid movies, i have heard about The Chupacabra growing up a friend of mine said he saw one late one night when he was walking around, I remember seeing a story on "Unsovled Mysteries" about a sighting. Growing up there were numerous things haunting my dreams but two of them were Gnomes (i swear my childhood home was full of mystical beings) and La Llorna (my bed was right by the window and some nights i could hear her calling my name). Cant wait to read more once i get the book.
Val
Wow, and I always thought that chupacabras were a brazilian thing...never knew they also existed(?) in north america, hehe :D
Here in my town there are lots of legends about witches (evil ones) that lived here a long time ago...most part of the city is located on a island so they like to call it Island of Magic. There are many other local legends about creatures and stuff but I don't really remember them all (I think one of those is called Boitata or something).
I'm not sure I believe in any of the magical creatures, I'd rather believe in the magic itself (if that makes any sense...)
Great vlog Hil, the book club ones are my favorite!
Cheers from southern Brazil,
Luiza
i liked that story, your a very good story teller ;)
i believe that fairies, mermaids, and witches and all that jazz still do exist, if not on our earth, somewhere else.
:)
you always have the most interesting picks.
in my short story class we just started studying southern gothic literature (we're reading flannery o'connor) and thanks to you i was ready with all kinds of background information on the southern gothic genre.
:)

Ay chupacabra! Spooky!Scary!
Lovely story telling as per usual miss Hilarie, I do so love the southern accent you graced us with towards the beginning of your narration.
Not gonna lie, not a fan of the chupacabra. Brings up horrid memories of scary stories before lights out while camping with girl scouts in the middle of no where. shudder. I much prefer entertaining the ideas of unicorns and mermaids, lovely creatures they are.
Hope for more books soon!
~Kristen~
P.S: After your back to school blog, I've started up a list of novels to read, I'm slowly making my way through them!
Oh that really is a special, special book! It's so eloquently scripted. I really enjoyed it...possible chupacacbra finding and all.
Well I am hoping that a unicorn will one day wander near my lair. Whether it be a dream on my part! I also have a fascination for the chimera.
And I'm also positive that Thyacine's still roam.

Be a DO-er!
Hilarie,
That is definitely the stuff of good storytelling. What is interesting is how cryptozoology and mythology come together in all shapes and sizes--to all levels of believability. And Good-evil can be such a fine line with them. e.g., Mermaid vs siren. Some even play big time sports...NJ Devils!!! I love learning about that stuff.
Haha!! El chupacabra!! I love it! This book seem so rad! I'm gonna have to find it somewhere! I am very interested in magical creatures!
Great choice,
Ashley :)
Hmm.. I think I do not believe in magical creatures.. since I've never seen them .. haha.. but great book as usual.. and your hair looks great..
go Hil!
There are lots of things I believe in... I'm into all this sort of stuff. Vampires, werewolves, demons and so on. I believe that the line between life and death is very thin but I don't approve the ouija board. I believe that what's dead should stay dead and you cannot mess up with spirits... you never know who answers "the call"...
I also believe in Angels... I bought a charm last year in Madrid and there's no day I leave the house without it. I believe that someone is watching over us and every time my charm "rings" I know someone is listening to my prayers & thoughts.
PS: I didn't mentioned before... It's strange not seeing you as a blonde, but you look really beautiful with your natural colour :)
grande hil vlog .... you and your crew are making great job .... I will see you forever ... ...
I watched the 1st episode of season 7... and there was problem ... missing my favourite couple.... you and Chad ... my Leyton ... you are sweet ... wonderful, beautiful, and the chemistry between you is and was unforgettable...!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so .... there are chance to your come back??

It's really good to see you busy. I've been searching for new updates of you and chad. I am so sad to watch one tree hill without you. You and Chad are an inspiration to a lot of people. Is there still a chance for you to come back. Because all of us are still in denial that you and chad are not on the show. I cried the whole time I watched the 1st episode of season 7. The new characters can never replace you and chad. Your story (leyton) is just about to start after a long awaited happiness. I hope CW would realize that it's a suicide not to have you and chad on the show.
Good luch hilarie. You are doing a very good job. WE are so proud of you.
I love you and we will support you all the way.

Great To Hear From You Hilarie! And Great Choice On What what To Share With Us. Thanks! Cant Wait For More.
*MoonWashedRose*
I don't know if I've ever really believed in Big Foot or any of those creatures- but I have always loved the stories that go along with them. Mermaids especially :)
I suppose if anything I have a tendency to create my own? My dreams have been haunted by figures resembling Dracula but behaving like the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz- etc. Traits/appearances of well known magical characters are often traded with each other, if that makes any sense!
I definitely believe in magic though. Some things are just so miraculous, how could it be anything but?
Great vlog Hil! Keep 'em coming!
(I feel inclined to mention that you've come a long way since TRL. It's really cool to have been along for the ride throughout your ongoing, successful journey... SGP is just so inspiring. Thought I'd throw that in there :) )
Until next time,
Kendall
Well I do not belives in mistics but I do love them, I love Dracula it's my best mistic creation :)
