LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?

Comments
LOL!
...and thats the first time i've ever typed that and meant it!Thank for a good laugh Hilarie and Celia! The next book i read will hopefully be this one. :)
now i reallly want to get that book! and yes one tree hill music is so "sick"..lol
I LOVE THIS!!!!
I don't know if it's because the Author is amazing, or your voice accent skills are amazing or because you possibly made up the ending to that story?
MORE, MORE MORE. Please :)
I almost got a disease of swine flu, when I was in a store with old people coughing, and sneezing all around me. You could just feel it in the air that it was bad for you..
CATCH IT. KILL IT. BIN IT.
Love,
- Jenn
I seriously need to get myself that book! It's freakin' hilarious.
The whole note writing part took me back to being in High School. My God, did I create some stories for myself..
Awesome vlog, as always :]

That sounded like a hilarious book Hilarie. It sounded nuts. You did a great job reading it. So were you also on twitter? I am. I'm @ALLTHEHARDWAYS. I've been a huge fan of yours from day one and have been trying to find you on the net so I could get in touch with you. I think you're awesome, you rock and Peyton was my fave on OTH. They do have awesome sik music on there. Well I'd love to hear from you sometime Hilarie. So hit me back if you got time sometime. Also one other thing, how could we get your autograph if we wanted one? Take care. Much love. <3 <3 <3 <3 & XOXOXOXOXO. Ciao.Theresa/Tree
I just picked this book up at Borders it is hilarious. It is definately one of the best books I hvae read in a while. I like how she makes you want to read on to see what she will say. Hayley
god love the shameless plug for your old life!... i love "seeing" about your new books to read, I'll be adding this one to the list....
what an awesome book. i could listen to you read the whole book. LOVE the OTH stuff, and i was totally the same way when i was in school. i would take the day off to watch something good on tv *blush* I know that is bad but you only live once and it was before there was tvo and dvrs :p i am totally going to have to order that book in to my local book store becuase i will totally be surpised if they have it already up here.
<3
Ceal :o)
Wow that book sounds awesome! I have to pick that up! I would totally be the one yelling boo with the perfect attendence too! I'm a firm believer in the need to not go to class for sickness or mental health days. All through high school I was constantly absent, many times for no reason other than I didn't feel like getting up at 5am and really liked daytime tv. I maintained honor role status all through high school as well, just didn't need to put up with the snotty kids (I went to private school so everyone was stuck up) every day to do so :)
BAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!
that was totally awesome! :D
and one tree hill music truly is "sick"
and i too do seriously hate it when people come to school when the are sick "im sick" "well friggin stay home!!!"
:)
So while watching this I searched my local library's catalog to see if we had any of her books. And I realized I have actually checked out one of her books before. The one that says something about not dressing your 6 year old like a skank. Very humurous!
Thanks for sharing! I might have to check out some more of her books.
That was soo funny, I loved it. The OTH comment was genius :D I can't wait to hear more from you Hil it's always a pleasure to hear you read :D
Laura
utter genius, its going on order now. I had headphones on but was laughing generously loud that i had serveral strange looks around my house. Absolutly brillent vlog, can't wait to get reading the next chapters!
Thanks yet again Hil,
Gemma J
Awesome vlog Hilarie, i laughed out loud. I'm going to have to find that book it sounds hilarious. i wonder if they have it in australia :)
This book sounds awesome, I really like the title! That book was on the two sisters bokkery web page. I am buying it tomorrow.
LMAO! i totally loved that. Hil you should read books to us more often, and make an audiobook version of that book.
The book sounds real interesting, will have to check it out.
Emma.
Haha that was awesome! Sooooo funny I love the bookclub vlogs. This seems like a must have book, unfortunately I was that dork with the perfect attendence LMAO though I didn't go to school sick just had good genes I guess lol. She definitely busted out Another World references (me, my mom, and my sis were avid watchers which is funny as well) not to mention the Tree Hill parts. You were right definitely a humdinger full of fun hope she gets together with you guys!!
~Dana
I propose Hilarie to lend her voice to make an audiobook version of this book. Not that I am blind but I love hearing her voice. ;-)
Freedom is the right of those that can risk anything to acquire it.
oh... my... god. Friggen HILARIOUS! i want it! i want it!
i especially loved the oth part. can't believe that is in the book. YESSSS!!! haha.
Hilarie you're amazing. I was so entranced by your reading i just didn't want you to stop. (also because the book seems so good ;) can't wait until the next book recommendation. definitely buying this one.
Sabrina. xo.

I love Southern books, movies, etc.

Lynn
Awesome selection! I am on fall break next week and I'm for sure going to read that one.
Well gosh darn, this book sounds all kinds of crazy good. I gotta say, this has been my favorite book vlog you've done, I loved the dialogue from the book and of course the One Tree Hill comment in it, LOLZ.
I will definitely be adding this to my book list.
Keep up the gnarly recommendations, I love 'em!
xoxo
hazel
Oh WOW! It's books like this that make me want sprint through the streets proclaiming what y'all missing out on. I pity those who don't read. Such wonder you can find.
Nothing short of flair and style!
Strangely enough I had a friend in High School, who NEVER EVER missed a day her whole 6 years there. Cuckoo.
-Alina
Be a DO-er!
that OTH comment was too funny and true my aunt and I are addicted to it only now i get it 2 hours before her even thou we live in the same town so i kinda spoil it for her lol. cant wait to get my hands on this book.
Val
LMAOOOO!! from the OTH comment, to the swine flu, to the fact that It really is that time of the month for me (too much information? sorry!) I think i just died laughing right about now! Hilarie, I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was a great find indeed! I was definitely one of those kids that always had a handy "sick note" whenever I didn't want to go to school. It doesn't hurt when your dad is a doctor either. The annoying mom secretaries would see the fancy doctor's signature and would never question it. Aww those were the good days. haha
"what kind of perverted sh*t are you guys showing these kids?" o.0 soo funny. That's something my older sister would say to her kid's teacher and more.
The OTH comment was crazy funny. "its like human growth and changes only it has an actual plot and the music is sick!" so true.. haha
I'm on my way to pick that book up at the bookstore. *hops into car and drives off madly* :)
SoGoPro FTW!
Oh wow that was so funny!! i think i have to get myself a copy of that book... although i probably can't get it in Australia. will have to investigate on the internet. what she wrote about is so true, i remember in my school we had sex ed from year 1 but that was a private school, so maybe that is why. but seriously, who needs to learn about sex ed. in year 1 im pretty sure no one does. and i was never allowed days off school if i was sick the only time i got off was if i had a temperature or looked like i was on deaths doorstep, but my parents didn't seem to care about us missing 2 weeks of school every year when they took us on holidays... weird but im not complaining.
cant wait to see what book you read us next
have a great day
Justine
Awesome find Hilarie! I have purchased about 3/4's of the books featured in SoGoPro's book club, however am only through like half of them, but this one will be the next buy! Thanks so much for all the awesome books you recommend!!
xoxo, Carah :)
This book i'm actually very interested in. Thanks for the recommendation Hil xxoxo
Oh, i went to school with all kinds of germs. At least three or four times with some kind of variant on tonsilitis or laryngitis. My mother was a teacher herself and was of the "you'll be fine, these things are always worse in the morning" school of thought :p.
And yes, I was in receipt of one such certificate as mentioned in the book ;). The kind i'm pretty sure you can print out yourself from Microsoft Office.
Ugh, I miss school. Glad to have you as a teacher now haha, making me read these books. LOL... You are my Salmon of Knowledge :P.
Love the bookclub.
Oh P.S. I love the title of the book, because it's soo true. If you start drinking early, you'll last the longest... haha.
G. from Ireland.
That book sounds hilarious! Thanks so much for sharing it with us Hilarie! I love hearing you read, it's always so fun :) I loved the part about missing school and writing notes. I'm an Elementary Education major and am doing my student teaching this semester and next semester...I'm trying to avoid getting sick so bad haha Half the kids in the class I'm teaching and in the classes I take myself are all sick so I'm probably screwed but I'm trying haha
<3 Michelle
Oh Hilarie, the accent is priceless. I can't waiting to be in Wilmington surrounded by voices such as yours.
I'll definitely be adding this to my list of books to read, as well as her other's you mentioned. Who doesn't love a woman that watches and writes and lives life via One Tree Hill?!?
Cute as a button, as always.
~Kristen~
oh gosh, i need to read that book. the parts you read had me laughing out loud, especially the part about one tree hill being sex education.
-emily-
