So sorry you are sick! I just got over a sickness too, my voice was completely UGHHHH for like 2 weeks. Even when my sickness cleared, my voice took long after to come back. It really sucks.
Drink A LOT of tea, and definitely live on soup for a while! My personal favorite soup for when i am sick is Italian Wedding soup. It can do magic =) lmao, you should try it.
I hope you feel so much better soon! Take care and get some rest hun!

Im sorry to hear that you have been sick. It seems like everyone has been coming down with somthing these days. Luckily I have not gotten sick yet(knock on wood!)

Im glad to hear that all good things are instore for our lovely Southern Gothic. Im so excited for you that Nick is coming out to visit. It seems like forever since you guys have been around eachother.
I hope that you guys have a GREAT time together, while nick is in LA.
Get better soon! Make sure to drink a lot of fluids and get lots and lots of sleep. Best cure for a cold. :)

Excellent news on working with that Graphic Artist. Fantastic how you plucked up the courage to call. Isn't human nature funny like that? I completely understand where you're coming from though.
I've no doubt in my mind that you will follow through on that annihalation! Aim high!

oh man I've been avoding everyone that shows any sign of flu. I had 4 people at work go home sick on halloween. That freaked me out a bit. lol I remember earlier this year on my bday I got horribly sick and sounded just like you. Everyone kept poking fun. lol For me it was lots of orange juice and soup >.< I can't have soup unless I'm sick. Its weird I know. Anyways, Hope your feeling much better and with Nick's visit you guys can rock LA sogopro style!

Dude you sound terrible! You must be how I sound at the moment. I've been quarantined to my room (as I share a place with 10 other people :S) My housemate and I have the worst chest infections. But tea and feeling sorry ourselves seems to be working. I drink Indian Tea (hint hint) which works wonders, honestly - with lemon and honey stuff...dunno if you're a fan...
On a positive note (much like you and your pal) my bro Shaan is coming up from London to see me, so I get to spend some time with him - really miss him as he's like my best mate and the only person in the world who can make me laugh...and I get a piece of home...
Anyways enough of my psycho rant...I can't wait for the Graphic Novel to come out (being a big fan myself, working on my own short one) it'll be real interesting, I hope.

Awww, Hilarie, the fact that you felt the need to post an audio message to us while you're sick is amazing of you. You definitely didn't need to do that. And I'm sure we all figure you guys are ultra busy, so seriously know that we still stick around no matter what because we believe in your company. You guys have been mega generous of your time with us and continue to be.
Seriously, the busier you guys are, the better. Well... as long as you still get plenty of rest in there. :)

Great things happening - so nice to hear! Keep working hard and have a blast with Nick. Not sure about Nick and LA though. Not for everyone. Take care of him :) Not my favorite place - too fake :) No offense LA Sogopro'ers :) East Coast is way more my style.
Oh - but you guys have to vlog from the Santa Monica Pier on a really sunny day to send the warmth to the NE because it is getting quite chilly!

like being sick. it reminds me how great it is to be healthy. I just got over something real bad, but i think i ended up giving it to a few of my friends. please don't tell them its from me. your kinda funny to listen to you.. and yup, i am definitely the strange friend to most of my friends... or the weird one, or something along those lines. i don't like that role.
I had to say this... Genre: Blues... you should try to sing something with this voice!! Take care and good luck with all the projects (and with Nick's visit).

When it's winter, and it's freezing, and you get up for work in the dark and come home in the dark, I often think there might be a certain amount of satisfaction in being struck down with some kind of illness that I know for certain is not going to kill me, but will allow me to justifiably take some time off and watch daytime tv whilst people bring me cups of tea.
Then it happens and you realise that it is just miserable.
