cover me.
it's been weeks since i've been back from los angeles, but i think i'm still jetlagged and on l.a. time. possible? i doubt it, but i like using it as an excuse for why i'm not headed to sleep before four am. you may be wondering what i'm doing until four am on these restless nights. well. first i watched season four of lost, which was amazing. as a writer, i find this show to be a friggin' master class for television writing. season four was during the writer's strike a couple years back so that was a bit of an amended season so unfortunately that didn't last too long. so, then... i started watching cover songs on youtube. gah, i love a good cover song. my favorites right now occur in the bbc radio 1 live lounge. amaze. ing.
and then i was remembering at the halloween party i went to this year, some drunkies sang me their spot-on rendition of what i will refer to from now forward as "the judith light song." you know the one.
this be your task.
arrange your own version/make a video recording/upload to youtube/email the link to us @ sogoprocontact@gmail.com
personally, i'd like to hear a remix and/or an operatic version. country-fy it. make it a slow, sexy jam. bonus points for new verses. [all i do is write new verses.] do it solo or get up with your pals. i want to see you sing.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?

I am impressed you know about the BBC Live Lounge Nick!!
I love listening to the Radio, 11am each day waiting to see what treats they have for me!
Personally, my two favourite Live Lounge tracks are:
The Maccabees - Boom Boom Pow,
Snow Patrol - One Day Like This
I am also looking forward to Biffy Clyro coming to the Live Lounge, in the middle of January - that will certainly be one to look out for.
As for re-recording my own song.....no, sorry. No one wants to hear me sing!
my absolute favorite cover - bibis ellison's lovesong by the cure.
Absolutely - what a great cover!
i miss daily updates.
Hey~
I miss the vlogs. Will you and Hilarie please do another soon. It has been a long while...
Thanks for all your words:)
LMAO this is a brilliant idea Nick..I think it's hilarious I truly believe that life should be a musical and one should be able to burst into song whenever one wishes or is inspired to do so lol. Well thanks for inspiring people to sing and this song was one of my favorite parts of the webisode simply genius

Love Radio 1 Live Lounge, I always listen to my playlist of my favourites when I'm on my travels, my favourite at the moment is Manic Street Preachers cover of Umbrella...so good.

Another Live Lounge fan here, as Niamh said, it is pretty cool to enjoy the power of the internet. I love covers of the oldies. Actually sad but true, years ago Travis did a fab live cover of Hit me Baby One More Time. I thought it was awesome!
That is a great cover. Bowling for Soup does a stellar cover too. Both better than the original IMO.
any one know why our Vimeo account stalled?
*sigh*
(bowing to the mass mind-set)
Noémie en France? I thing i do this video when i'm singing hallelujah it's my sonng favorite !
