LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?

Hey guys,
I really think the 3 of you should get together and come up with a southern gothic notebook/journal. I threw the idea out before to you guys. On the front you could put your signature tree, and on the inside give each page a favorite music, book, movie, tv show quote that you all love, live, & laugh by! Put the quotes on the either the top and bottom of each page(rotate it out!) If I new how to get that together I would print up a copy for you as an example but I don't! I know myself, any many of your other sogopro followers love to write, draw, etc and I think it would sell big time! I would love to own a copy! Think about it, please!

wow thats awesome! so much sogopro support in that town. AWESOME!!!! thinking about droppin' in to wilimington sometime this year and i am difiantly going to check out that book store.
Two sisters Bookery had a very good idea to put a place especially for Sogopro. I wish that it will give ideas to booksellers of France.
I was just there back in Sept. looking for some books from some of the local authors. I live about 5 hrs away so me and my wife go to Wilmington at least 2 times during the summer. Great little store. Can't wait to go back this May!
i would love to go there sometime. only problem is i'm broke and live in london so hardly very likely. it looks like a great place, really friendly, personal and some great books too. i would love to have such a nice bookstore by me, i just have a waterstone's chain store.
you could always sell something book related there, like a booksleeve, bookmark, bookclub members' badge/ mug or a bag with a space for a book in it, with the sogopro book club list printed on the back all randomly in different fonts. sounds great to be working with them and keep up the great ideas.
happy new year everyone.

There have been some grand ideas for possible merchandise.
Some other ideas are badges (SGP logo, characters from F.U.C.T, artwork etc.), an official pen (I love a good pen), calandar (perhaps for 2011 with a collaboration of all projects and fan art/writings/photos/poems)
Hmmm...some suggestions that may spark something ingenious in your minds.

A pen (stationery in general) is a good idea. Now you get SNAPS *click* I also like the calendar idea - our book stores and libraries prints them the size of a bookmark - dual purpose ;)
i totally agree with stacy, it would be great to listen to the reading of you hilarie, your voice sounds amazing and i love to hear it. audio books read by you would be great.
the store is amazing, i like this kind of atmosphere.
Thanks for that, I hope to get there one day. But Hilarie have you ever thought about doing some of your book club choices as an audio book, you have a great story telling voice and a great laugh, I think you would be perfect choice to do an audio book. As I travel a lot I buy audio books for the journey, music is great to listen to but getting lost in a book on your journey, you'd be surprised how much quicker it goes, audio books really are the best way to do a long journey, and Hilarie you would be the best story teller.
cheers Stacy
Ooo...I am loving this!
I used to listen to them all the time as a kid! Just laying there lost in it!
Definitely worth consideration.
That's a great idea, I've always loved listening to her read the extracts for the book club selections.
thanks for that, and thanks for all the hard work all you moderators do,
you are all such a lovely bunch of people. Lets hope Hilarie does think about doing an audio book - it would be really cool.
What a cute book shop. I think that's a great idea about having a whole Southern Gothic book club area. I'll make sure to check out that place if i come back to Wilmington anytime soon.
Hilarie i'm really liking the colour of your hair again, i like it more brown, more your natural hair colour.
wow, that book store looks so cute and cosy :)
i would love to go there one day
:)
I live in Italy..but when I'm going to have some money..."two sisters bookery" it will be the 1st place that I will visit...!!!!(sorry forn my english)
kiss kiss BUBU
Yay! It's Jac's fan art on the shelf :) Wish I could just hop over the Atlantic and come into that little bookstore. Looks comfy and inviting!
You guys are so lucky to live in a town that has a unique bookstore like two sisters bookery - which every book lover/reader can spend hours in a paradise like this!
If Rory Gilmore was real - she definately would spend hours in this cute bookstore - I know I would!!!
Go SOGOPRO!!!
I'm trying to place where the bookery is in the cotton exchange. My sister and I (2 sisters, lol) have been to Wilmington the last 4 summers and have been to the cotton exchange. I am pretty sure we have been in there, I've never met a bookstore I didn't like, I just can't remember exactly where it is. That's bothersome. I can think of where the christmas store, the jewelery store, and the t-shirt/sweatshirt store is, but not the bookery. Is it coming in from the front and by the 60's kind of store? Anyway, do they have online ordering? I live in Michigan so will not be there anytime soon, but would love to order the books online if possible.
And as for other things they could carry, book totes, mugs, and bookmarks are all fabulous ideas, love the idea of an exclusive book club t-shirt, what about sgp postcards? You could put the logo, or photos of your projects. That would be a fabulous keepsake for fans! And you all are so creative you could come up with many must haves!!!
They are located in the back of the Cotton Exchange - next to the German cafe i believe. You can only enter from outside in back.
And here is their website: http://www.twosistersbookery.com/
Happy reading! :)
Cool idea! I could spend hours and hours browsing in a good bookstore, and the Two Sisters Bookery seems like one of those bookstores that i can spend eternity in. Thanks for the tour!
Lynn
i was already planning a trip out to Wilmington but now im definitely going to have to make it out there just got to talk my friend into going with me lol love how there is a special spot for the sogopro book club.
Happy New Year!
The book store is great! I want to go there someday!
I think it's wonderful that the bookstore has made a space for Southern Gothic that's really cool. I am hoping to take a trip up to Wilmington this summer and will deffinately put the Two Sisters Bookstore on my list of places to go. So far I have loved the books I have read from your bookclub!
-Chelsea.
Oh this is a simply marvellous thing you have done here.
The Two Sisters Bookery was placed on my list of 'things i must do before i die' a few months ago. It's essential to me, so thank you for giving us a small tour of this simply idyllic book store!
-Alina
Be a DO-er!
Great idea guys! I'd love to visit Wilmington at some point and would definitely include a trip to the two sisters bookstore. Very clever to have the book club collection all in one spot.
Maybe SoGoPro bookmarks? Or a SoGoPro bookclub journal or normal journals?
All I can do, is the best I can do, in the time that I have.
I visited the bookery when I was in Wilmington in July because I remembered her mentioning it before. I don't remember the SoGoPro display though. That must of been added later. I don't remember when we did the treasure chest thing and that piece of tree with the logo was in the box.
I live here and have been in there a few times since you first mentioned it. I love it, so cute!! Canvas totes would be excellent!!
Thanks Hilarie and Nick,
I will add this to my list of places to see when I am in Wilmington the beginning of March.
Have a wonderful and exciting New Year with SoGoPro.
Cheers
Christa
OOOOOOOH yes this a fantastic vlog....Thanks so much for the visit. Can't wait next summer for entering this bookstore. I've already seen it in a guide "special" North Carolina's Southern Coast & Wilmington, sent me in France by Insider's Guide from Wilmington...
This is the perfect style of bookstore i love strolling for hours from one section to another, getting a whiff of some books, reading some pages...and sure i'll be there in July and sure i'll buy many books...and lovely cards...
Yepp, really awesome, a special thanks from France...
Once again Happy New Year with joy & happiness you deserve...2010 will be better than 2009...yes, it's possible!!!! We're here, more than ever...
Best Greetings From France,
Nadège, a BOOKAholic...
Is that Jac's tree-stump thingy from the treasure chest I spot. (Nvm, question answered in vlog ha!) Very cool! Love the 15% off idea. Too bad I'll never be able to make use of it.
Adore the quaint, beautiful bookstore. Wonder if there are couches in there, I'd probably camp out there.
Ideas for bookstore: Book bags, book lights and my new obsession, bookmarks! Or how about bookclub t-shirts (of the "SoGoPro ♥s Two Sisters Bookery variety), bookclub mugs for our caffeine fix or for hot chocolate on a cold winters day or for some chai to mellow out with....you get the picture I'm sure.
PS Happy New Year.
SNAPS to that!
I'm totally digging the mug idea. It's essential to have something hot beside you when reading!
.... and coffee, there has to be coffee....
I'm liking the idea of bookmarks and bookclub mugs! Good idea, Astrid!
I'll be there in March and Two Sisters Bookery is on the list of places I must go!
I'd love to see sogopro swag in there...tote bags for the win.
~Kristen~
