you can calm down on that front. i'm british by my birth, british/ irish/ scottish/ welsh/ croatian by blood, and british/ welsh/ croatian/ burmese/ trinidadian/ ethiopian by birth - grandparents and closer.
and i'm under 19. at least there's something we are not the same one.
i learn mandarin at school because it's such a beautiful language and i have been for 4 years now. still really bad though.

*phew* heehee! wow! that's an exotic mix! *slightly envious* Yeah, mandarin is a difficult language. I'm not that good at it either, especially written mandarin!

just having diplomats for family. mandarin is horrid, sometimes. i have an aural coming up and i'm terrified. i really should be revising. and i am awful at remembering characters. what i love about it is looking at the radicals in the characters to decipher the meaning. like autumn is fire tree season and breaststroke (swimming) is frog water movement and good is a mother and a child because the child won't cry if the mother is there.
