No secret......
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I totally geek out for the show "Criminal Minds".
I've spread the fan-fection (get it?? fan infection???) to our dear Nick. I don't know if
he loves the show or if he just likes watching me get wrapped up in the fictional hunt
for serial killers. (And by the way, not to brag but I've gotten really good at guessing
the end of this particular show. Perhaps I should pursue a pretend job in law enforcement.
Like "I'm not and FBI agent, but I play one on TV.")
ANYWAY, Nick and I love Matthew Gray Gubler.
So, I was tickled when Nick directed me to the link for the Gube's completely incredible website.
If I were a wizard of the visual arts, I could only dream to have a website this cool.
Gubler, if the cosmos should somehow alert you to Southern Gothic's appreciation of you,
be our friend. We could solve crimes and make dorky youtube videos together.

Ok so I know this is a really late post to this but I have to say I absolutely LOVE Matthew Gray Gubler!!! He reminds me of a young Johnny Depp. He has that boyish good look of Sam from Benny & Joon. One night my mother was watching C.Minds and I got interested in the episode and then thought - omg who is this stunning man? yes yes I did start watching the show because of him but then realized what an awesome show to watch - very different then my usual shows. Wouldn't it be cool to be in the FBI and solve murders just like that! Forget Greys Anatomy I'm tunning in to Criminal Minds on Thursday!

I have been a Criminal Minds diehard since the beginning. I love me some crime shows but this is by far my favorite. It's nice to find out that one thing I love (SoGoPro) loves another :) You should try and get a spot on the spin-off Hil. MGG tweeted how he wanted to producers to call it Criminal Minds: The Squeakquel. I heart him. His unauthorized biographies on youtube are AMAZING if you haven't seen them. As far as people from that show I want to be bff with in real life, he and Paget Brewster take the cake. And basically in my real life I want to be emily Prentiss so this show is my love on so many levels.
I'm a HUGE Criminal Minds fan too!!! I have a BA in Psychology and am working on my master's so I love watching them figure out the behavioral patterns of these criminals and find myself analyzing them as well! I wish that I was an actress that could play that type of role, maybe some day!!! ;)

Wow! I can't believe you watch it! I love that show! It's honestly one of my favourite crime shows! (Well that and NCIS, Mark Harmon is awesome) I have watched it for years, I think since it first started. Out of all the characters, Matthew Gray Gublers character, Reid, is by far the most interesting. I love him! Did you watch it when Jason Gideon (however you spell it) was on? He was awesome too!

Great timing on this blog. I was being super lazy last night and decided to stay in. Luckily, A&E seems to run criminal minds mini-marathon all night long on Fridays. I am hooked on this show!!! And I love Spencer Reid! He's the cutest thing. Hil you need to guest star some day as an agent....or killer, whatever!
Ohh this is exciting!! I have watched a couple of those Criminal Mind episodes or was is it Forensic Files?? Im not sure...haha. But both are great shows. Im fascinated by seeing why people do what they do. We were actually talking about that today in my Social Psycology class. Its really interesting what people do to conform with society. Anyways, going on a tangent...back on topic..lol. I am for sure going to check out his website! Hope all is going well for you guys!

Aw wow Matthew's website is amazingg! I've been taking the time to look at everything, it's awesome! I've only seen him act in 500 Days of Summer and I loved his character, I'll deffinately be looking into Criminal Minds though, I love shows like that. :]

I LOVE Criminal Minds! The cases are super interesting and creepy. I liked the one last week when the lady kidnapped women to make them into human dolls. I was totally creeped by the way the girls looked; like actual dolls! I also like the ones like this that have a killer (or unsub) who isn't really to blame or sympathetic. I was also intrigued by was the one where the women were being kidnapped to be baby breeders, but killed if they had girls. So sad about Hotch's ex-wife (Andi from Dawson's Creek!) that was also a great heart bonding episode. Oh I gush; I want to watch it right now and maybe I will!
Ok - so about a month and a half ago I watched a random episode. Well, since then, I have been planning my days around when Netflix will send me a new DVD. I had to go all the way back and start at season 1 because that is just how I am - type A and all.
I LOVE this show. I love all the characters and Dr. Reid is so great! Seriously, I am at the end of Season 3 and will be so bummed when it is done. Of course, I do have to turn away sometimes but I am obsessed.

I love love love Criminal Minds. They show like 4 episodes every night on like 2 channels. Even though I have already seen all of them, I will sit there and watch them again.

Ahhh Criminal Minds is a guilty pleasure of mine as well!! I always wanted to do something in that area but changed my mind when I got to university. I am now a teacher, and sometimes wonder if it's my detective instincts that kick in when I have to try and figure out "who took who's crayon", or when the "He hit me, no he hit me first" scenario hits!!! I love my job, but I love when I get to live vicariously through the characters of these types of shows :) Also have to thank Hilaire for mentioning Freaks and Geeks somewhere in a blog or vlog, this is an awesome show!!
Oh Hil, you're such a cute dork which is great because I think there is a little dork in all of us. Gubler's creative mind is astonishing. Thank you so much for providing us these sources of inspiration and creativity so that we can expand our horizon. If you see it like that then Criminal Minds is a lot like SoGoPro. A team with great and creative minds that goes "hunting" together for different creative things (ideas). And in the end, it is the work of the team that helped putting together all the pieces of the puzzle to get to the end - the novel, short story, movie etc :)
So, SOGOPRO you are your very own "Crimitive Minds" (get it? criminal-creative)...which seems like having potential as a great title...LOL

Very cool site! I have recently become obsessed with criminal minds aswell, watched the episode last night about the chocking game, where the dad was the criminal, i guessed it from the very begging. Matthew Gray Grubbler is ma fave, and i love his hair, now that its a bit longer :)

lol.. gublerland. The art in that website is way to cool.
but i'm geeked over NCIS right now.
took a look at the website - totally awesome animation/ graphics (not really sure what to cool them). we had to do some stuff like that back when i was about 12 in art combined with ICT lessons (not really sure why they did that). we had to make our own imaginary machine with lights, movements and crazy noises, they had to function. the best was one by my dear friend Tasha (Natasha) whose machine made the weather out of the colours coming from a TV.
