I would have my boys from Brand New in there because their lyrics mean so much when you take the time to listen to them. I gotta get a good beat from Taking Back Sunday and Jack Mannequin. Maybe some catchy Paramore because lets face it, Haley's voice is gorgeous. Deffinitly Johnny Craig because he is just an inspiration to all, no doubt about that one. Copeland works since it's just great for when you're in "that mood". Oh, you can never go wrong with Letters and Lights so might as well just throw that in the bag.

OK, So I would have to go old school rock ballads. Journey, Cheap Trick, Heart, Phil Collins, Richard Marx. Couple of aussies favourites - Cold Chisel, Men at Work. Newer stuff would be Sia, Katy Perry, Sheryl Crow.
I love listening to soundtracks because I get a mix of everybody, Cruel intentions and Twilight being favs, but there are heaps more that are awesome too.

Wow! This is such a tough decision for me. It would be a mix between some current artists and those from the past.....yeah, I listen to the oldies station and I am not ashamed to admit that. One of my favorite things to do is go out and about in town (I live in a college-y town) and find new music. To begin with I'd have to say "So and So" would be at the top. Great band, good people and an awesome sound. And besides, any person in a band that nicknames me, "the chosen one" totally gets props in my book.
Next I would have to go with The Allman Brothers, Billy Joel, Boz Skaggs, Santana, Dan Fogelberg, The Doors, The Eagles, Edison Lighthouse,FIVE MAN ELECTRICAL BAND!!!!!!!, Jim Croce, Simon and Garfunkel, The Who, and of course the man himself....Eric Clapton!!!!
On a more contemporary note my taste varies. I tend to try and stay away from bubblegum pop. There's nothing wrong with it, just my preference. Some of the artists I love to listen to are: Brandie Carlile, Carolina Liar, Coldplay, Elvis Costello=MAJOR LOVE, Hot Hot heat, (I've recently fallen in with love) The Noisettes, and finally, WAKEY!WAKEY! (and it's not just because I love Grubbsy either.....)
It's funny...most of these artists are a generation or 2 apart and yet their music speaks to me on the same level. I can be free, let my hair down, and just feel so connected to some other person listening on the other end for a few minutes and it makes me feel like maybe we all aren't so different or afraid or out of touch with the world around us afterall.

soooo, normally i'm the quiet kid in the back row; sit back, take it all in, and observe the action.....i know, not a good way to treat an organization that relies and depends on feedback and input from the masses, for that i apologize....luckily enough, it's a dark rainy sunday evening; i've gone out, played, went puddle jumping, but the score is still rain 1 me 0...I'll now write to fill the time...Beware, i normally don't start for good reason, once i do there's no telling when and where the madness will end...
it seems i have a whole FUL bag to fill....seemingly simple until i realize just how FUL i can fill that bag....nice to know it's all without quantitative limits....
first item in the bag, The Fratellis, not well know and currently MIA, but the loveliest group of men i've ever happened upon while crossing a street on the upper east side...quite honestly the only band i've ever happened upon, but if all are as nice as these guys, sign me up, i'd groupie them!!!! we talked, dodged traffic the old fashioned way (think frogger), and upon parting they took my name and put me on the guest list for their upcoming NY shows and the following Toronto show...sure enough, there were 4 tickets waiting @ the box office for every show, even the TO show for which i was absently in San Fran, but able to send others...it seems i've diverted, i'll get back on track...

It's so great to see that more and more people are noticing the underground, and uprising new music too, yay! SoGoPro is AWESOME! haha I hear ya, none of my friends have heard of Jacks Mannequin either! They are totally one of my favorite bands as well. I have been trying to see them in concert for at least a year...lol.
