Holy closet, batman! For any little girl -or the little girly-girl inside us ;) - this is like the ultimate dream job! Though I would imagine, that after shopping for so many people, it would feel like a chore to have to shop for yourself!
All these little insider secrets have really opened up a whole new world for me. Learning how you take words printed in black and white and transform it into something so much more simply through a piece of jewellery, a little clutch bag, the perfect LBD, or whatever - it is a little bit like magic! (You can now add that to your resume - Carol Cutshall - magician :P) It is so much more enjoyable when you can watch an episode or a feature film where all the little pieces fit together and not be distracted by a wardrobe malfunction or something out of place on set. These interviews allows us to see how each department works in order to make the puzzle fit together and deliver a flawless product in the end.
The 40s episode, as stressful as it sounded to put together, also seems like a ton of fun to work on. A little something different to contrast the sort of everyday clothes you have to put together. I'm surprised to learn that you had the same amount of time to put it together as you would a "regular" episode. I would have thought that they would let you know before the start of the season to give you enough time to get it all together!
Anyhoo, I should nip the rambling in the bud. Thank you Carol (and KT) for taking the time out of your busy schedules to share a little bit about yourself and what you do. Congrats and good luck with the baby!! :)

Ahhh! What a fantastic interview!! Carol, you do such an amazing job on One Tree Hill. Your hard work really shows! I have learned so much from listening to what you have to say about your department and such. I would have never known that you had little time to do the 40's episode. That was pretty cool to hear how you pulled that off. I can't wait to see your work with SoGoPro, I know that it will be amazing! You're very talented!

I'm inspired to watch the 40s episode now! It is so interesting to hear all of the details behind getting the clothing done on time for the show and I never knew the next episode was being planned before the previous one was still being worked on! That is crazy! I commend all of the industry people on getting everything done effectively!

I have so much more understanding and much appreciation for how much pressure the costume designer is under to have the characters looking perfect for every episode, especially special themed episodes like the 40's one. That's alot of work and Carol & her team pull it off so well.
I really enjoyed the details in this interview, it really helped me understand so much more.

This interview was so specific and detailed, one can really picture the hard work put into the costumes now. Thank you. And Carol the work you are doing is fantastic. All this work you and your team put into it! Wow.
I loved the part about the 40s episode, one can really feel this pressure that you must have had, having only little time, nothing there yet and still having to take care of the episode before. I didn't realise that you had to manage all of it in the same time as any other episode! And also coming up with several identical clothes for the shooting scene!
I can't wait to see sogopro and Carol working together on a movie!!! Hopefully soon!
