LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?

Love this interview! I guess it's really fun to be around guys like Tym :) I like his works and I am definitely looking forward to his book! I also would love to see him doing make-up.
Thanks for the awesome interview ;)
Tym seems like such a fun guy to be around! These interviews have really been showing how much these people love their jobs and it's great to see.
Gosh, how many brushes?!
It was interesting to hear that you use certain products for certain things and actors. I guess skin tone and such has a lot to do with that? The same for the individual character/actor drawers too, I'm guessing?
Anyway, really interesting interview, so much more goes into these things than you realise. Great work, all round!
Two words for this guy: hands down! Worked with Tina Turner and other amazing stars creating breathtaking looks that made all people look like better versions of themselves without overpowering their natural beauty.

Kasia
Now I see why they are called makeup ARTISTS, did you check out those palets!
I love the fact that they use products that can be found all over the place. I think this is possibly one of the things I would love to have done, to have somone do 'movie makeup' on me, just to see how I could look. That would be ace!
Thanks to you and to Tym for a fabulous interview!
Love the interview with Tym! I never knew that they have to get scars and all that stuff! Sounds really cool! Tym has done makeup for some pretty awesome people! I want him to do my makeup! Also...I would totally buy his How To book! I'm always trying to figure out how to do my makeup.
Thanks KT for bringing us another great interview!
News of the how-to book made me do a little happy dance - for real! I can spend hours watching those youtube tutorials (Lauren Luke!! ♥) and so I am really curious to see what type of "interactive book" this will be. Super excited - and with your resume, I'm pretty sure it's going to be fantastical!!
This was such a great interview! Was intrigued to hear you use all kinds of brands [yay L'oreal! we really don't have many high-end brands here :(] but even more intrigued by the fact that I did not hear MAC thrown in there? No love for MAC products?! I was wondering about a couple of things: 1) What's your opinion of HD foundation/makeup, it seems to be the latest trend among makeup artists 2) what was the name of that primer you showed, I couldn't quite catch the name - am always up for trying new primers, 3) do you guys bend the mascara wand too? Apparently it helps with lift and curl - I am not convinced and 4) how do you keep your brushes so squeeky clean?!! Oh one last thing, the personalized containers - are those personal products that the actors bring on set or are they sort of the "main" products you use on the specific actor?
The one thing I've noticed, which seems to be a common thread in these interviews, is the willingness of folks to actually work from the ground up - pretty impressive to hear someone willing to work next to nothing and to come from that and be the Key MUA - that's ...awesome...
Anyway, thanks for the fun interview. Looking forward to the next!
Great interview guys!!! Tym seems so nice! Great to see Karen flaunting her mad filming skills!! Looking forward to the next one!
