Hey Im also a big sandy fan - she has been my favorite since I was younger. Practical Magic & speed are one of my favorite movies and she was great in 28 days! FYI guys Sandra Bullock and Beth Grant were both in the first Speed!

Sandra Bullock was on Letterman tonight. I missed half of it though. She talked about her new movie and what it was like to be naked on TV. Talked about learning to farm and starting an avocado farm, and they talk a little about Jesse James.

Sandra And Beth Grant Are Both In a Time to Kill, A Great southern Movie. Of Course Beth has A Small Part, She Plays The Mother Of Two Boys on trial for The Rape And murder Of A Young Black girl. Great Movie Based On John Grishams Novel. But Theres A Movie They Are Both In for Your Marathon Guys. Hil and Nick Asked This Question If They could Find A Movie Theyre Both In. I Remembered. both In A Time To Kill. Check It out If You Havent Already Seen It Or read The Book. But They re Both In It. So theres One For YOur Beth/ Sandy Marathon Guys.

Hahaha you guys crack me up! One of my favorite southern actress' is Jennifer Garner. She is such a versitile actress and she creates these charaters that you can't help but fall in love with. If you guys got her to be in one of your productions I would literaly pee myself. And of course another one of my favorites is Hilaries Burton =) And i'm not trying to be a kiss ass I promise. No one else could have played Peyton in OTH, it just wouldn't have worked. So there ya go! My favorite Southern actress'.

I really like Julia Roberts. I am a big fan of Mystic Pizza and Mona Lisa Smile. I think she is really talented and I hope she does more movies soon.
I also like Mathew McCaughney. He cracks me up.
Sandra Bullock is one of my fav actresses as well. She was fabulous in Crash and 28 Days. It's cool that she also does production stuff too, like she was the exec. producer for The George Lopez Show. Reese Witherspoon is another good southern actor.

Vivien leigh, so not American nor Southern in fact completely English! .... but surely she gets kudos for having struggled with alcoholism and mental illness most of her life. She only made about 20 films and still won 2 Best Actress Awards playing American Southern Belles and immortalized two of the greatest women's roles the silver screen has ever seen- Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind (1939) and Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire (1951).

Sandra Bullock it's true, is a very good actress.i like a lot Julia Roberts it's a wonderful women.But for me at this moment, there is Marion Cotillard, a French actress who has performed wonderfully the role of Edith Piaff in a very good film "La Môme".

I will admit at first I didn't recognize the name Beth Grant. Which I was a tad ashamed of cause I am REALLY good at remembering random actress/actor names. As soon as you said Sparkle Motion though it kicked off a montage of Beth Grant roles in my head. And I don't know why but the absolute FIRST clip I pictured.......her blowing up trying to get off the bus in Speed. Then of course I giggled to myself thinking about Too Wong Foo and how it has been way too long since I've watched it.
I love the random things you guys get me thinking/smiling about on a rainy Thursday morning. Makes the rest of the day so much more exciting :)

It's not quite 6 degrees, but apparantly Beth Grant had a guest role on "Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place" back in the day (LOVED that show!) and Ryan Reynolds was in that, and now he and Sandy Bullock are in "The Proposal" together. How neat! haha
PS- I too am from the same neck of the woods as you, Hilarie, and Sandra Bullock, and I too, choose to go southern!

Now Sandra Bullock is one of my faves! I absolutely LOVE that girl. Everyone movie of her's that I have seen, I have been obsessed with..haha. Hope Floats is one of my favs and one summer I watched Practical Magic almost everyday. Another good one of her's is Premonition, her performance has been doing the ugly cry by the end. I encourage you guys to see it if you have not already.
The whole 6 degrees of seperation between Sandra Bullock and Beth Grant may be quite the challenge, but I have made it my mission to figure it out. I love a challege...haha.

My favorite "southern belle" actress would definitely be Reese Witherspoon, or maybe Renee Zellweger. I actually love both of these ladies...both are probably not just my favorite southern bell actress but like my favorite. Sweet Home Alabama and Walk the Line, and then you have Bridget Jones (obviously not playing a southern belle in that movie) and Cold Mountain. Clearly both actresses have such talent they can portray just about anything! Oh! I want to see The Proposal! I like Sandra Bullock too! :)

I love some Sandra Bullock but I'm going to have to go with Reese Witherspoon. I love her versatility as an actress and she keeps it real not only in front of the camera, but in real life too. I guess its the southern hospitality. I also love Shirley MacLaine who is from Virginia and Kathy Bates from Tennessee.. they are some hilarious women. They also play strong roles. You can't go wrong with those from the south.. I cant help but to be bias :)
