I'm a bit behind here but I've just got my copy of the book! Can't wait to get started, the cover artwork is beautiful.
The SoGoPro bookclub is amazing it really puts the fun into reading and discussing it with everyone :)

I read this book a few years ago now and though I can't remember the fine details, I remember enjoying it greatly.
I might try hunt a copy down and re-read it. :]
Ofcourse, your rendition was awesome.
It's great to see you both back on the stairs; I've missed it!

GRAND choice guys. Books were meant to be shared and treasured; I always look forward to your recommendations!
Loving the treasure chest ;) It's magical!!

Be a DO-er.
I love me some Shirley Jackson.
Her book, "The Haunting of Hill House" was made into one of the best black and white scary movies ever.
The book club Vlogs are the best!!
I already owned "The Fountainhead" when Austin did his Vlog. I finally read it afterward and had a big smile on my face when I got to the part that he read. He did a great job with it.
I also own "We Have Always Lived in the Castle", but have yet to start it. Now that you guys have reminded me, I might start it sooner rather than later.
Thank you guys so much for taking the time to post these kinds of things for us. It really brightens my day, night morning or whenever I get home to watch/read whatever you put up.
Keep it up!

So thank you, for the recommendations.
Oh and Hilarie, I love the safe, looks awesome!
Emma.
Hilarie, from your hands or sugarbowl, I won't even object if arsenic or spiders come out and I am sure many guys would want to place their hearts into that chest, lol
Freedom is the right of those that can risk anything to acquire it.
Hey guys,

Thank you for all these great recommendations!

I always wanted to live in a castle.
Good to see you back Hilarie because I suspect that Nick was beginning to get lonely all by himself!
I do quite enjoy a solid book recommendation and will definitely look into We have always lived in the Castle!

What an interesting title! I do enjoy story time here at SoGoPro... :) This selection reminded me a lot of the "Wicked Plants" selection from earlier.
Will have to see if I can find it somewhere sometime...
Heyyy!

As always thanks for sharing with us your fav. books and its really great listenning some lines read from you, its awesome!
Thank you!
Lau.
Not another one! There are 22 books sat on my pile at the moment already! Only kidding ('though not on the number), after the brilliance of Atlas Shrugged, all recommendations will be avidly devoured...eventually :-)
Greetings,
I always like a lot SoGoPro vlogs about books, because maybe I love books, like I've already told and written to you. Then, I don't know where I'm gonna put all of them... and I'm not kidding!!!
Your vlogs about new books are really as a reading club... And it's always interesting for new discoveries, especially for us from France. We haven't the same library and this is what it makes your recommendations so important to us, as treasures...
Thanks for sharing your "coups de coeur" as we say in France, I mean, for your favorite books.
See you soon,
Nadège, France
This book sounds pretty interesting, I did enjoy Shirley Jackson's The Haunting Of Hill House. I've heard that this title is both creepy and fun (and thats always a good combination lol)
Thanks for the suggestion - will definitely pick this title up at Chapters!
I think SoGoPro book club v-logs are my favorite. Maybe because it brings out my inner nerd... and breaks into my debit card. Ah, good thing I'm hitting the mall this afternoon, I'm itching to read new books. Keep the videos coming, I could always use suggestions.
oooh, interesting pick. i'll have to look for that book the next time i'm at the bookstore. :)
Great pick guys, book club posts are always awesome :). I read this book maybe a year or two ago and loved it - Merricat is one of my favourite fictonal characters.
"It could be said that there is danger everywhere," Uncle Julian said. "Danger of poison, certain. My niece can tell you of the most unlikely perils - garden plants more deadly than snakes and simple herbs that slash like knives through the lining of your belly, madam."
I love these couple of lines from the book. It makes me think of two things: 1 being Sylvia Plath and 1 being 'Wicked Plants: The Weed That Killed Lincoln's Mother and Other Botanical Atrocities'
Love you guys!!!
Smiles
Angie
