for those of you that haven't noticed, i wanted to mention that we are now selling unsigned t-shirts of the same variety that we have been selling signed.  it kept popping up that people wanted them, so i put on my screenprinting hat and went to the screenprinting place and said for some reason in a mid-atlantic accent, "sir, one million shirts please!"  and poof, here they appeared.  [note:  clearly, i did none of that.  i believe kelly made some phone calls or pushed some buttons on his computer.  he's the one we trust with money.]  you will recall that the first episode of Friendship Union Community Theater was shot using the money we garned from the great t-shirt sale.  as we move into preproduction for episode two, we are launching the great t-shirt sale 2.0, and of course, not to mention the great tank top sale is also ongoing...

and with those words aside, i am so very very very very very excited to be introducing you to this particular character today.  her name is fern disco.  or as i like to call her FERN F.U.C.T.-ing DISCO!  she deserves that reverence.  fern is played in episode one by annetta jenkins, and i have to admit that i was so tickled when this woman walked into our prescreen auditions a few months ago.  really and truly, snagging someone like her was the very reason we held those auditions.  we knew instantly we would use annetta, her monologue and her presence were unforgettable.  i just had to figure out how, and then, fern disco was born in my wacky mainframe.  please, whistle, hoot, and holler for fern disco, star of Happy Birthday, Grandma!
