Hey Hilarie, this is Nerimen! I am French and I study in Paris.

I have the chance to say a few words to you so I take it! Firstly, I wanted to say that I think you are a very good actress. You know how to show and transmit feelings. I feel that you are clever, nice, friendly and not selfish. You care about your fans, and I am amazed by your hurt’s greatness. I can't believe that you are going to read my message!

I have questions:

*Do you want to come and stay few days in France? You can come at home!

*What are your film and southern gothic productions projects’?

*One tree hill will be so sad without you and Chad, do you think about a return to illuminate oth?

* You are clever and beautiful. You have a lot of good points in your life so I want to know… What is your dream? Do you miss something?

My dream is to meet you but I can't because it's not easy to come in USA. One day, maybe! This is a link with my own website, the way I use to show the world how much I am proud of you:
http://hilarie69.skyrock.com/1.html!
It’s a dream and I know you have a lot of things to do but if one day you have time, I give you my email address to join me. nerimen.gozan@sciences-po.org

I really want you to be happy, to realize all your dreams. Stay like you are… perfect.

Nerimen, a French friend

PS: sorry for my English! ;)

Wow, those were some really great questions...good choice Hil.

Seriouly, a fan came to your house! That is totally creepy, don't know what I would have done if that had happened to me! What did you do? Did you just stay in your house and lock the doors?

Your answer to Danicalifornia's question really got me thinking, I mean I know that I believe in god but it has encouraged me to think about the reasons why and how my faith plays a part in my life. Thanks for sharing that answer. :)

Now to answer your question, Im not sure who I would want to talk to. There are to many for me to count and I would not be able to choose just one. Im a big fan of philosphy, so we would probably talk about "The Good" and how it drives everyone's actions no matter the means.

Thanks again for another great blog!

Hilarie,

I absolutely loved this vlog. My favorite by far. I love how genuine and real you are towards the fans and people who support you and SoGoPro.

My favorite part was question 3. Being a server of God myself, I really appreciated how open and honest you were. It very much is a lifestyle and not a sermon. I always stress that to everyone I come across. God has definitely blessed you immensely and you are doing an amazing job with your gift. :)

The first question cracked me up. I actually was in Wilmington last year, and met a few people on the set of OTH who told us you weren't in town that weekend. I would have loved to meet you, and hopefully we will meet the next time I visit. I'll be sure not to drop by your home. ;) I'm not a psycho. lol

Thank you for the vlogs. Keep up the good work!!!

Best,

Lauren

I guess being in the spotlight has its ups and downs...for a fan to show up at your house is definitely borderline stalkerish!

I agree with your music choice and I must admit that I have a pretty sweet hot pink boom box! :)

Im not sure who I would choose to meet with but I know that faith and identifying what others believe in would be the main focus of the conversation! You were lucky to have such a great group of peers that respected you and that you could share deep thoughts with! I wish that more people in my high school were as open minded and considerate!

Thanks for taking the time to answer questions!

Firstlyy, the image of thousands of boom boxes blasting out Motown, in the Middle East, is enough to keep a smile on my face for weeks! Hahaha, I absolutely LOVE the idea. 'Baby Love' most definately has to be on the ultimate playlist.. And 'Aint No Mountain High Enough':]

I was really surprised by your third answer too. Not that I didn't know you were religious, believed in God etc Just because it's rare to hear people talk about it in such a personal way, without having to be defensive about their beliefs or persusive to their choice. I have to agree that faith is a great topic to choose. Not that I am religious in anyway.. My inspiration and motivation comes from the great people I have surrounding me in my life; those are the ones that keep me going. I could talk about them for days on end. :]

I had no idea you were from here.  I spend a lot of time at RTC (Reston Town Center) having grown up in Vienna and working now in Herndon.

Your last answer really inspired me. I wasn't expecting that but wow...it made me think.

That was great, I am loving this new segment.
I completely agree - Motown can save the world. In WW1 they played football on Christmas day peacefully we should go to the middle east and play Motown definately :D
Thank you Hilarie for talking about your beleifs so openly, it really is inspiring. I have 'goth' friends like you and it is so great to sit down and TALK with them about REAL things not just who's kissing who.
Keep the faith.

Gotta love these barbeQUE sections. Very good questions. Love CSI and Law and Order and indeed very creepy if your fans turn up at your house! :s
So, we have had Nickjams and Hiltunes, can we please have Hils Motown mix??? As motown can indeed save the world, ha.
So great to hear someone famous not talk about the generic fellow famous person that has inspired them but old friends and awesome that you talk openly about what can be such a taboo subject.
Another great post hil
Gem J

Amen, Hilarie! I loved your third answer. It is refreshing to hear you talking about God, which can be such a taboo subject to so many people. I enjoyed it! Excellent Q/A session!

please go back to one tree hill pleeeeeeease

dana16's picture

Hil, you are so great! I love that you started this Q/A session it's such a interesting way to get to know what drives your spirit and what motivates your enthusiam for life and your work. I too have a group of friends that we just sit around and discuss the big things in life over coffee talk..lol! I support your save the world with MOTOWN campaign haha I also believe a giant session of coffee(or whatever beverage of your choice) talk could help save the world as well. I love the answer to your last Q because there is nothing more important than your beliefs(whatever they may be because that's who you are as a person)! I will be in Wilmington in Oct for a weekend it would be an honor to actually speak with u but I would leave that up to the fates lol. I truely agree that invading your home is down right over the edge and I always watch CSI so I feel your concerns lol!! Have a great rest of your weekend

Hey Hilarie, You'll never know how much your character of Peyton inspired me, made me feel like i wasnt alone in life..

What i really want to know is from season 6 the episode of 100 songs that helped deal with life's obstacles... Do u have 100 songs that you'd be willing to share with me and your fans... Please.. im in a rough spot right now.. my grandfather is battling cancer but was taken off the trial meds yesterday so this is the end for all of us.. i hope you respond with the songs to get me through this right now.. Please..

Your dedicated fan always but definetely wouldnt creep your house.. lol.. sorry

great questions and answers! i really like this q&a thing you guys have going on here. very interesting!
ahh, motown. until i was about 10 i basically only listened to stuff from the 60s/70s/80s and motown was a huuuge part of that. i completely agree that if we place huge stereos in the middle of every place that needs the help, it's basically inconcievable that all the shit wouldn't just stop (even if it is just for the 3 and half minutes that a single song plays for).

the last question was a great one. i'm actually extremely jealous of your little 'goth' group haha, that sounds amazing! and i agree that faith would be the most interesting thing to talk about...not necessarily faith in god per se (i myself am not religious at all, but it does interest me as to how/why other people are), but just the things that keep you believing and keep you going. no matter what they are, they're the most important thing about a person. those sorts of motivations and integral things are what interest me the most.

wow, long comment... :S

rockst4rg1rl's picture

I love motown, and "The Funk Brothers." There are to many people who do not know who they are. If you know motown you need to learn about these guys! They gave us the great music we love to listen to.

CSI AND LAW & ORDER ARE AWESOME BUT NOW MY GUILTY PLEASURE IS WITHOUT A TRACE, AS A MATTER OF FACT I HAVE 2 EPISODES WAITING FOR ME ON MY DVR LOL. I LOVE MOTOWN SONGS I HAVE A WHOLE MIX MADE SO IM IN ON THE WHOLE BOOMBOX THING HILARIE. GREAT QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS TODAY.

I'm glad you posted this today...you made me laugh on my birthday :)

i think everyone can agree that if someone shows up at your house and starts peeking in and you have no clue who they are, that person is classified as a creeper. :) haha

Some great questions, and truly great answers.  To converse and discuss something that moves, and touches peoples souls is a really toucing beautiful thing.  It's fascinating, it's empowering and views and opinions can really open one's mind.
I thoroughly enjoyed this segment.

These were some great questions!! I especially liked the last question. I too would talk about God and my faith. It helps me to think about what my purpose is on earth and what my reason for being here is. I can talk for hours about that.

p.s. God bless the people and their families impacted by the September 11th attacks.

with love,                                                                                                                                    Ashley :)

Thank you. :)

i loved your barbeQUE installment. i have more respect for you now as well.

and yeah, i don't like people outside my house as well. obviously they aren't there for me, but its very creepy.

Hilarie, This was awesome. I love that you have a strong faith in God because I do too. He has truly blessed each and everyone of us.

Have you just said "When I was young"!? In this way you freak me out, ehi you are only 27!

About the third question, well, sincerly it's a really good question and yours it's an intersting answer, I would like to tell something about it, but in English it's quite impossible for me, also because I have some difficulties to speak about that also in Italian!

Bye, Stefano.

I was in Wilmington  a couple days around the forth of July and I was very disappointed that I didn't  run into you.  However, I wouldn't resort to seeking out your house because that is creepy. I visited the Two Sister Bookery (whatever it was called), and filming locations. Wilmington was our stop before we got to our vacation spot, Ocean Isle.  I was extremly happy that everyone decided on Wilmington for our stop. Did the  OTH tour and everything. Something I will never forget.

i agree with you hil, it would be so creepy to have random people just show up at your house...dont invade the personal bubble ppl lol

Cant wait to come to Wilmington..i hope its soon!!!

Hilarie, you are a doll I just adore you. I'll be making my way to Wilmy in the spring and I truly hope to cross paths with you downtown, it would make my life. You've got such a gorgeous spirit and I derive so much inspiration from you and Nick and Kelly as we get to see and hear all of your thoughts and creations.

I'm 100% with you about motown. Marvin Gaye makes my soul smile. I cannot wait to see 'Sexual Healing', it's gonna kill!

I love these little sessions where we get to hear your thoughts on things, I hope we get several more!

That was really interesting to hear your thoughts re: Dani's question. I was just having lunch with a friend and she was telling me about all the great conversations she has in her tutorials at university. Her favourite thing about it is that people are actually willing to TALK in class. People care as much as she does, and they leave the room saying "that was awesome." I think often young people are wary of being considered precocious or worse, pretentious, and so they end up with kind of a bad rep for only caring about celebrity gossip and stuff like that. My experience is that, yes, we like to sit on the sofa and watch Friends and filp through the magazines. But it is only with my closest friends that I can do that, and five minutes later be discussing God and politics and discrimination etc etc. The three unfortunately seem inextricably linked in my part of the world, so that's a conversation that seems to never end.

wow i forgot i had even asked that question. thanks for answering it, hopefully gives insight to others on the reason why you do what youdo and your passion driven behind it.

Great question. I would talk about my beliefs and music. My beliefs helps me keep faith for any situation and to me music can express so many emotions.
