Hilarie Burton: Hi! [waves] This is a nerdy vlog. I’m not going to have any tricks or give any fun trivia, this is strictly an update because it is the key focus of our website to give you guys behind the scenes access on everything that is going on behind our filmmaking endeavors. So, currently I’m in Los Angeles setting up shop. In fact, this is my little office. [moves camera to show her office] This is my new little desk, books, and a picture of a gypsy, and a skeleton, and this is my view. It’s beautiful! [puts camera down] Yeah, setting up shop a little bit, gotta get some work down out here. It’s been really productive. I signed with a new agent out here, which is good because anytime you sign up with a new bunch of people they’re all very enthusiastic and excited to get to work. So, I was really pleased to go into a new agent’s office, and it was such a warm environment and everybody was really outgoing and really kind, really into everything we’re doing. So, that was good. I’ve been taking meetings with the heads of studios and things. And yeah, looking for work, letting people know what Southern Gothic is out here! And you know, there’s a lot of work to be done all over the place. We also have gotten some artist submissions from Dave Dorman who’s helping us with our graphic novel, and we just recently got one the other day, I’m not going to name any names but, Kelly, Nick, and I are all very happy with this artist, and so pretty soon we’ll get in touch with him, and hopefully he wants to work with us. I mean, we’re really fun, and I’m pretty good at buying presents, so if initially doesn’t want to work with us, I’ll probably just try to buy his affection or something. [looks behind her] Hold on, my dog is coming in here. Be good. Are you being bad? [turns back to camera] My dog’s being bad. [laughs] So yeah, lots of good things on the horizon. [to dog] Are you hungry? [back to camera] Alright, I have to go feed him. But yeah, we’re doing lots of different things from lots of different coasts. They finished our first real episode of ‘Friendship Union Community Theatre.’ We should be shooting our second one pretty soon, and so yeah, tying up loose ends! Getting stuff done, trying to get it all out to you guys! So, that’s it for right now. Like I said, pretty boring! Except for [holds up skeleton doll] my totally awesome skeleton. Anyway. [laughs and waves]
