About Me

My name is Briana, but I go by Bri. I'm a 20 year old college student/southern California native who loves the beach, time with friends, and any temperature over 76. My two best friends and I are in process of starting up a charity that will give the youth and teens the resources to express themselves creatively while helping other local charities. Other than that, I am a student at Chapman University in the Dodge College School of Film and Media Arts as a Creative Producing major. I cheered competitively for 13 years, and I love having a good time and try to enjoy and make the most out of life. Oh, and I also have the world's most adorable Doberman, Brody.

Favorite Music

I love every type of music. I love singing along to awesome musicals like Hairspray and Rent or listening to the awesome lyrics of Kellie Pickler, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Sara Evans, and other country stars. Nothing beats dancing in the car with your friends to all those (slightly overplayed) R & B and hip hop songs like Kanye and Jay-Z and lil Wayne. My favorite any time genre, and probably what I have the most of, is definately rock. I love all types of rock, alternative, hard core, punk, emo, classic, and all other forms. I'm pretty open to everything. Pop is also good too. If you're ever listening to the shuffle on my ipod you might hear it go from Hannah Montana to The Weepies then to Shania Twain then Gabe vs the Sad Kids then Betty Rage then to Beyonce, Electric Light Orchestra, Bob Dylan, The Kills, Kanye, Madonna, Chris Cornell, Trembling Blue Stars, and all time favorites the Red Hot Chili Peppers. You'll hear me singing off-key to all of em.

Favorite Books

I read constantly and, like music, love almost anything. Love Nicholas Sparks, Melissa De La Cruz, Dan Brown, Dostoievski, Suzanne Collins, and so many more...

Favorite Movies

My favorite films are those where you can tell people have thought a lot about the characters. I love movies that make you feel like the characters are your friends(Ten Inch Hero is one of my favs for that reason). I have a recently acquired taste for Guy Ritchie films and their insanely convoluted plots. My friend Kimberly and I are addicted to all horror movies and will see all of them. I love the adorable 80s movies like Punp Up the Volume, Say Anything, Breakfast Club, and Footloose. I love all the cheesy films that are always an actor's first film, like Satisfaction. Classic Disney animated films can't be topped. I love comedies like Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the Sweetest Thing, and all those silly ones. Searching for Bobby Fischer is amazing also. I love action movies like The Hitcher and don't really care whether or not it's realistic, cause Michael Bay is awesome. I have a really diverse taste for movies and can't think of a single movie that I can't find something good in.
